Email Groups of Families or Students

Teachworks is so close to being a fully fledged CRM for education, but the inability to build email groups is a major oversight. I'd like to be able to build groups of students and / or parents (ie. for group classes) and be able to send email to the groups and then save them. Right now you have to add each recipient individually each time you want to send email.

It would also be great to be able to email everyone on the schedule on a certain day, everyone who is a certain grade, or everyone who is coming for a certain service (i.e.- "SAT registration is open for the March test!". We often need to email, say, everyone coming on a Monday to remind them whether we are open or closed for a Monday holiday. Templates would be great too!

Records of email and sms messsages sent to contacts, both transactional and personal, should save a copy in the contact record so businesses with multiple users can track the history of communication with contacts.

Being able to send emails to designated groups would increase efficiency and productivity and minimize errors or omissions at the same time. I would use this feature regularly.

Yes, if we could also choose prospective when sending emails, this could be great. We could choose "all prospective" or "all students" or "all active" or "all inactive" and also filter by groups. This would be awesome.

This would be the best feature ever. If you could mass text students and/or parents in a particular group, that would be even better. Right now we have to manually text and/or email all 50 students one at a time on each score day.

Definitely would benefit from this. It would be nice to email a specific grade rather than our entire database.

Yes, we have 4 locations, 13 year groups, online students as well as tutors. We would love to be able to email / SMS each group as well.

This would improve the way we can communicate with the students and our tutors.
