Can we manually send SMS to students/parents/students

  This would be so useful, as it would allow us to send a sms to a parent or student immediately without leaving the system. Not only would there be a log of these messages but it also means small tasks that require a quick reminder or clarification to parents etc can be dealt with immediately removing one more task from my ever growing todo list

  Hi Abdul-Raouf! It isn't currently possible to send SMS messages manually via Teachworks, but we'll continue to monitor interest in the idea on the Forum:)

  Agreed, this is a required feature for TW to be a more robust communication tool to be used with teachers, families and students. More and more, people are not reacting to email messages but they do react to text messages. We use another tool for applicant tracking, where we utilize it's built in SMS capabilities for communicating with teaching applicants and they effectiveness of this tool is overwhelming! Time for TW to get with the times! Let's move on this ASAP!

  Yes agree. SMS messaging is vital. Would TW consider moving this customization forward??
